About Boondocks Fun Center

Boondocks provides a variety of entertainment options that appeal to a wide range of ages and interests. We strive to create an environment that is safe, clean and inviting for all ages. Boondocks Fun Center’s target market primarily consists of families, businesses, schools, and churches. Birthday Parties and Group Events, including company parties, corporate team building events, and school and church outings, represent important business segments for Boondocks. At Boondocks we take great pride in the condition and appearance of our facilities, the quality of our personnel and the level of service that we provide. “Expect Excellence” has become our motto. We encourage each other to strive for excellence in all that we do. It is our desires to have excellence characterize every aspect of the Boondocks experience. To keep things fresh, each year we update and rotate. We add quality games as they become available and move things around. We focus on continual maintenance and improvement. If something breaks or is damaged we fix like new or replace it.

History

The owners of Boondocks Fun Centers got their start in the family entertainment industry as Select Development and Contracting, Inc, a construction company specializing in the design and construction of elaborate miniature golf courses, batting cages, go-kart tracks and bumper boat ponds, attractions that are commonly found in Family Entertainment Centers. Since its inception on the mid 80’s, Select Development has completed more than 200 projects throughout the United States and in Mexico.

Several years after starting Select Development, the company’s owners decided to expand their focus beyond the design and construction of FEC’s to include Fun Center operations. Select Management Co. was formed to focus on the task of developing and operating company owned Family Entertainment Centers. The owner’s felt that their construction and design experience would provide a strong foundation for the successful development of company owned facilities while at the same time the operating experience would significantly enhance Select Development’s ability to assist their construction clients.

The company currently owns and operates facilities in Meridian, ID, Draper, UT and Northglenn, CO.
